Oh my goodness, we can't trust parents to be interested in the books their kids are reading. They might learn something their parents don't want them to know! If we hide all the books that talk about sex, teens will stop having sex. If we hide the books that discuss gender identity, kids will start conforming to traditional and religious ideals! If we hide the books that make us uncomfortable, kids will never have any conflict at all.

That's how stupid you sound.

Deuteronomy 22:29

the man who raped her is to give the young woman’s father fifty silver shekels, and she will become his wife because he violated her. He cannot divorce her as long as he lives.

And this is ok???? 🤬

Uh huh. On a related note, are conservatives supportive of banning the Bible in schools for the same reason?

Or are y'all just buying into the hyperpartisan Republican rage machine because words make you feel gross?

Be honest, now.

Seperation of church and state, it should be, or at least the public schools.

What it should be and what republican politicians are arguing for are two different things, though.
