Shutting up about genocide is how we've ignore genocides across the world for the last 50 years. It works. Most people don't even know Jimmy Carter helped carry out a genocide. Jimmy fucking Carter. Join the fraternity of every president of the last well all of our history in committing genocide that isn't well-publicized.
It would be far preferable for him to stop supporting the genocide, I think.
