$450 on a dinner for one at Chicago’s Alinea Restaurant, back in 2011.

Yes, it was worth it. Most memorable meal I’ve had in my 47 years.

I spent $80 on a steak once. It was not worth it.

But the outing made for a nice anniversary, so I guess the net result was positive.
