The AirPod pro adaptive mode is great!

Woah lucky, I’ve never been able to update my AirPods

After updating to ios17 the adaptive just showed up. No update process of the headphones themselves it seemed.

Any update on that VPN breaking issue?

[–] dameoutlaw@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 year ago

I haven’t looked into that yet

Looks like I did the right thing not upgrading from Big Sur.

Can I update to Ventura only?

[–] bamboo@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yes? It's the latest stable version until next week, so you'd only get Sonoma if you opted in for the beta. Even then next week you can upgrade to Ventura but then just not install Sonoma. It's not like windows where they force automatic upgrades.

The only annoying issue I've had so far is Fitness not reading the activity data properly.

I GOTTA CLOSE MY RING, MAN! (I'm waiting on my watch U2 so I can get into fitness+ properly)

I’m…not positive if I like the Watch updates yet.

So far the update has felt pretty buggy, with some complications acting weird and flashing when I Raise to Wake.

I’m going to assume this is a short term thing, and the watch needs to get settled after the update. But I have noticed a precipitation complication not updating correctly until I open up the weather app.

So fingers crossed this fixes itself after a few hours.

Encountered some weird bugs immediately after the update. The wifi and cellular icons at the top disappeared and only appeared when an app is opened. It got fixed after I restarted my phone one more time. Then the volume slider wouldn’t go down to full 0. It only actually went down when I moved the brightness slider. Weird stuff but everything is ok now (I think) after a reboot.

I always need a full reboot after major updates.
