Incorrect. He doesn't think that. He said it, like he says anything, to get votes.

Let's not pretend he'd lift a finger to help immigrant workers if elected. Everyone here's smart enough to know that, at least, right?

Look at what he did during his first term. Everything he did was to help himself, or help people who had something significant to offer him in return. Even if he thought immigrants would work for less, he's not the one employing them.

More likely he'd flop on this issue and frame it as protecting American jobs, to further entrench the votes of mid-to-right voters.

I mean I know that he’s dishonest and doesn’t give a shit about immigrant workers but I’m sharing it here for discussion amongst the conservative community because this goes against rhetoric I typically hear from Conservatives about immigration. I’m curious to know how they process this.

It doesn’t go against rhetoric at all. He’s been saying similar things since things 2016. Republicans are not against legal immigration.its fully inline with republican stances.

Wait, you’re telling me Republicans haven’t been against illegal immigration this whole time??

Nobody is talking about illegal immigration. Students are on a student visa. Republicans love legal immigration.

Re-read your previous comment. You specifically said:
