I have run the reactor stably at max power output for roughly two days now. And now I am wondering how much longer I should wait with shutting it down to upgrade.

I saw that some pumps have a five-day service cycle, so do you usually wait for that? I have already 200k upgrade points, so I could already buy quite some upgrades. So should I shut it down now already?
