It did its job, which was to support an Israeli invasion
It was a fun little experiment for the US military, I wouldn't call it a waste of money in terms of testing their capability admist a crisis, since there is valuable knowledge to be gained from failure.
I am disappointed in its purpose to serve as a distraction for the ongoing aid restrictions through land crossing.
If it makes you feel any better it was also used for an Israeli military operation that killed 400 Palestinians.
Wait did I say better, I meant worse.
