The good news for Quest owners is that Meta recently added support for Netflix in the Quest browser, complete with 1080p streaming.

Netflix hadn’t significantly updated its VR app since porting it to the Quest in 2019. It never gained passthrough or download support, and its resolution stayed pinned at 480p.

Yea i won't miss it too much. I used it a good amount when it came out but the very limited resolution wich worked for the quest 1 is far from ideal on quest 3.

I'm more than happy running any streaming services in browser anyways (Wolvic works great, or probably even the default browser especially with the Beta layout)

Of course. It looked like shit and streamed like hot garbo even on normal computers and smart TVs, I can only imagine how fucking miserable VR Netflix was. And it's Netflix, no one should be paying for that slop any more anyway. lol, as if VR would ever maintain any kind of meaningful suite of services.
