Syncthing syncs a folder between 2 or more devices, Hoodik is an E2EE version of Nextcloud

I mean...Nextcloud over HTTPS is an E2EE version of Nextcloud isn't it? I just don't see the whole E2EE slant...

Your files are not encrypted at rest on Nextcloud. Hoodik claims that your files are encrypted at rest.

I'm Interested to hear about what more educated people than me have to say :).

At first glance through the github repo, it looks like a cool project but I can't see what or why it's better/different than say syncthing or ownCloud/nextcloud?

Nextcloud and Owncloud are not E2EE. Hoodik is E2EE.
