"My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President," Mr. Biden posted on social media. "And it's been the best decision I've made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it's time to come together and beat Trump. Let's do this."

I don't know why they forced him to step down. My only guess is that they were worried that Kamala being president and having Johnson right after her would be the issue. Not sure. Maybe they're going to pick someone other than Kamala? Except for how he worked with our allies, he did a great job domestically and foreign, imo.

I will vote for anyone that isn't trump, but it better be someone not corrupt ffs.

Edit: AOC could run, lol. They'll never let her, but she could.

According to the Constitution, there are just three basic qualifications for being president:

  • Age: The person must be at least 35 years old
  • Citizenship: The person must be a “natural born citizen” (meaning they were born to American parents and did not become a citizen through the naturalization process)
  • Residency: The person has lived in the U.S. at least 14 years

Muller says the president’s minimum age must be met by Inauguration Day. A 34-year-old could be elected president in November of an election year, but they’d need to turn 35 before January 20 to take office.
