Recently I’ve been trying to get more into matcha. But the equipment seemed daunting and fragile for someone like me who enjoys travel. I found a travel-friendly set at MontBell, and a good ceremony quality matcha at Nakamura. I’ve only studied it and attended a class, but haven’t made one for myself yet. Can’t wait to try these out tomorrow!

Hell yeah, just had a matcha latte this morning. That tea kit with the chasen wooden thingy is a must.

It is. Tested it out this morning and it was really good! But a little flat. I’ll need to boil the water a bit cooler next time and use spring water to get the full flavor

I would probably really like it but the extra steps involved kinda kill it for me.

It's the same issue I have with coffee. I like the flavor just not the work involved. To me I want to wake up hit boil on the kettle and then just pour water over some leaves.

I understand the appeal but it's not for me. I wish you luck in your matcha journey
