This is why giving money to billionaires doesn't work. Give it to normal working people. They will get some relief and this will increase their morale so the country gets better.

It pissed people off so much when they did it in 2008, and they just kept doubling down on the strategy. Never learning any lessons (even when they partly did the right thing during the pandemic by cutting everyone a check, they had to pair that with the even larger TPP program that had barely any oversight).

The rich are now richer than they have ever been in history while we grumble about it on the internet. I think they just didn't learn the lesson we might have liked them to have learned....

I'm wheezing from laughter. Give monopolists and fortune 500 companies more money. I'm sure they'll "trickle it down". The US government isn't going to do jack shit. They won't take back the money or fine the companies, and people will just keep buying their stuff.

Sometimes I think being evil is too easy at that level.
