Why though? Are we going to match it with a tax increase over 100k?
I honestly don't want a tax cut if it'll just accelerate our provincial debt.
What's going on Canada?

They're conservative. It's going to mean removing services and selling off crown assets.
Yup, and that terrifies me.
Dammit BC. Shut up and take my money! I know it's a lot but the services are worth it.

A lot of people have been talking about the Federal election that is very likely to be a year away. I think we should taking things one election at a time and polls have been trending in the wrong direction for BC in the last few months. It would be good if people gave more attention to BC politics.
Why on earth would we believe the Liberals this time just because they changed their name?
I still remember when they got voted in on a platform that included rejecting the HST… only to have them implement the HST without telling anyone.
And like was already mentioned… I WANT public healthcare, a functional road network, resource management that will still have resources to manage in a decade, and all the other things my tax dollars pay for. Income tax is already stratified and based on a percent of income in the tax bracket. Since we’re going to have to start footing a bigger bill each year to deal with global warming (wildfires, floods, slides, water shortages, electricity shortages, vanishing glaciers, migrating wildlife, viral outbreaks), I’d like there to be enough money flowing in to handle all that.
This might be a blessing in disguise. The BC Liberal party (BC United) posing as liberals would no longer confuse or split the left vote. It's NDP vs the conservatives, plain and simple.
From my post a few days ago for the BC Housing thing. The green votes should also consolidate into NDP as well given their current position on things.
Former Green Party leader Andrew Weaver(climate scientist) has been making rounds saying he's a big fan of the BC Cons led by a guy that says carbon is good for the environment.
Oh boy the Greens mask seems to have fallen off a bit.
Lol. Last gasp of the dying BC liberals. IMHO Krusty Clark and her accomplices can’t shake their past embracing organized crime at BC casinos.
Even rebranding can’t save them because we know.
They might cut taxes and put tolls back on bridges like they did last time?
