The answer is probably "I know what interests me, it's good enough for me" or "I don't have enough time/energy to try other routes."

Games are made for fun. I'll play routes I think I'll have fun on. If I don't think I'll enjoy it I'll pass.
I do completely understand the mindset of completionists though, especially if it comes from a mindset of "I paid this amount for this game, I want to see all the content I paid for", wanting to get all your money's worth.
