Because it’s useless shit that fucks the environment and all of humanity while enriching cunts who will be dead long before they’d be affected?

It was something beyond that (in the sense that it's what fuels the behaviors that result in that) and after some contemplation I think it's that these seem to be designed to feel "quirky" and "creative" and "unique" but seeing the exact same design lined up in rows shatters even that illusion.

Ahhh the holiday end cap...

Just a few more weeks until the Christmas stuff starts showing up, and that means the Hannukah end-cap with what were clearly Christmas decorations that were now painted blue and silver will show up. Hey, if we're lucky, there might be a single kosher Channukiah, but that's unlikely. The chocolate Santa's rewrapped as "chocolate Macabees" were a previously unseen surprise a few years ago.

Hurrah, capitalism!
