Apparently I'm also a man...

Oriental knot for everything but funerals and weddings. Looks a lot more casual for daily wear and can be done/undone in 10 seconds. It'll change your life if you wear ties a lot.

Seriously asking as I don't wear or know tie people. Why bother undoing them at all? Unless they are super high quality expensive ties, I can understand those being extra delicate.

Leaving your tie tied all the time can cause the material to permanently deform and lose its shape. It's not a huge deal if the tie doesn't get used a lot, but I don't really believe unit cost should be a huge factor in sustainably using things

Been there, done that. Unless they get dirty and need to be cleaned but yeah.

What's so hard about putting on a tie. All you have to do is clip it on your collar and go.

Discovering there's a channel dedicated to pocket squares and that it's a whole rabbit hole was the most grown up afternoon I've ever had

Ok, but now do an Eldredge, and then try the Penrose.

Oh, and the Trinity is also cool

Eldredge is badass

My first job required a tie, so I learned how to tie a tie. I haven't tied a tie for about 5 years and entirely forgot how to tie one when I was at a wedding and the video I watched when I first learned to tie a tie no longer turns up in youtube searches. Maybe I'll re-learn maybe I won't. Only time will tell
