If you don't have any other emulators set up, i would recommend to just use emudeck, its supposed to help set up all the emulators that you pick and sets the recommended settings and controls for the steam deck.
I have set up emudeck. Works for nes, snes, gba, ps1, Wii, and ps2 without issue. It's only when I tried Wii U and ps3 that I ran into into problems. I do know it's possible, but I got tired of tweaking
Oh man, I hadn't heard of emudeck and was just about to start running emulation on my new deck. Any other amazing tips like this? I have run emulators for years but only on windows on my desktop.
