The game features a wide array of items for you to buy as a match progresses, and the options for builds are vast.

Have you found a go-to or two that you like to get, almost no matter what character you're playing?

I really like quicksilver reload. You assign it to an ability, and using that ability then also instantly reloads your weapon.

That's REALLY useful when combined with something that creates an opportunity to do damage, like a stun or movement ability, which then always comes with a full mag ready to be dumped.

Active reload! I feel like reloading in general takes too long, so this helps alleviate that a bit; the fire rate bonus makes it even better, since when you're in a hurry to reload, you're probably in a hurry to shoot afterwards as well.

I agree, I’m a former gears of war player so it feels really natural to use especially since like you said reloads take a while.

Anything with lifesteal, otherwise the biggest QoL is melee charge for me, never having to reload while dealing with creep is a big plus for me.

Amen to lifesteal. In certain characters having Leech makes you very, very hard to kill.

You just have to make sure you don't stop dealing damage for a second :D

Does boots count? I buy Enduring Speed a lot. Melee Lifesteal is really good in lane, I buy it on almost anyone. Majestic Leap is probably the most fun item, but I'm not good enough yet to abuse it and have it pay off consistently.

Escalating Exposure. If you have a regular source of spirit damage, it basically means anyone you're fighting has 5-10 seconds to kill you or run away before there's so many stacks of -resist they're fucked.

Yamato with Torment Pulse and Escalating Exposure is so fun to play.
