She’s perfect because she has never seen a corporate handout disguised as policy that she didn’t absolutely adore while also being shrouded in the impenetrable armor of identity politics. Go Maura! Show them that it doesn’t matter what sex, race, religion, or creed, a career politician can be just as corrupt as anyone else! gurl power

identity politics

I don’t know this woman or what she stands for. However, I noticed this term gets bandied about a lot whenever women or PoCs do something a poaster doesn’t like.

Like banning abortion isn’t identity politics. Or closing polling places in minority neighborhoods.

Can we please stop buying into the fascists’s frame?

Are you doing a bit right now? 😂😂😂😂

It’s funny you should say that. It’s literally in the playbook for modern politicians. Look no further than Kirsten Sinema or even Kamala Harris for a playbook. Pete Buttigieg (an actual CIA agent and McKinsey operative) gets a nice pass because he’s gay.

Do you also want to call me anti-Semitic for protesting the genocide happening in Palestine at the hands of Israel? That’s the EXACT same thing. They use religion, sex, gender, and ethnicity to escape criticism. Then I have to fight with idiots like you in the comment section **literally demonstrating what I’m talking about. **

A corrupt black neurodivergent trans person is just as bad as a corrupt straight CIS white man.

I didn’t call you anything, Mr persecution complex.

But if the jackboot fits, go ahead and wear it.

I didn’t say you called me anything. I said you would be the same type of person to do that. It’s the same thing and I was using it to demonstrate the folly of your thinking.

I said you were doing a bit because you were demonstrating my point. Go read back if you are having trouble remembering what I said.

With the jack boot comment: Are you insinuating that holding all politicians to the same exact standard and not falling victim to their increased use of identity politics to escape criticism is some sort of fascist idea? Please, before it is too late, look in the mirror.

How about you read and respond to my comment (and not your hallucination of it) and then I do the same. And no ninja edits this time either.

I did your homework assignment. I read back and stand by EVERYTHING I said. I didn’t hallucinate.

You came at me for mentioning how corrupt she is and that she will be able to hide behind identity politics. You said that even the phrase ‘’identity politics’’ is a way of playing into a fascist frame not understanding that I was saying that this is the technique used BY FASCISTS TO ESCAPE CRITICISM. You ran not walked to reply to me to tell me that my perspective somehow invites fascism. Hilarious! Have a great day! Thanks for the laugh.

Edit: I’ll edit my comment as many times as I see fit. I don’t leave grammatical errors in.
