I wish it were as simple as deleting my accounts with meta, Google and Microsoft. University requires I have MS, Android effectively requires I have Google and if get rid of Facebook I'll lose access to marketplace, my local community and people will probably just not talk me

We do nothing.

Somehow our politicians will get their pockets greased and stop mentioning this.

We carry on. One foot behind where we were yesterday, which was a step behind the day before.

Eventually we’ll all be fucked with no rights or protections, just property of the state and whatever corpos own it.

So basically we can do nothing lol

At the end of the day if you don't want them using your data don't give it to them. It's the only way.

Don't use their service. Get a privacy focused browser. Get an ad blocker. Disable 3rd party cookies. Container off the sites. Only use the Internet to view furry porn.

Then you're totally protected.

Are people surprised by this?

Aussie privacy law is a joke
