Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

Yes, I stopped using it and went back to normal keys.

I'm on the fence, I might get a CCX for my TypeMatrix at some point...

I think it's a good idea, I added chords to my keyboard with zmk and I found it more comfortable and accurate than the CC with its multi direction contortions.

They look really cool but I'm not sure I want to make the jump. At least for now. Maybe some day though. Good luck learning it:)

I use MessagEase on my phone so if it gets anywhere near that comfort it's worth it I think. It does take a good while to get used to it though. The chording is amazing but if you already have a great device you are comfortable with you might have a better time with the CCX.

I'm still very much getting used to it, didn't use it enough yet to give a good opinion about it... I think the idea is great, execution could probably be better but a lot of it is being worked on in the firmware already.
