Imo best option is Minnesota, but New Orleans or Memphis are somehow viable too

Yeah I agree with Minnesota. Even though Memphis and Nawlins are more East, they are still closer to OKC, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas than Minny is.

I would say both New Orleans and Memphis should be in the East, since the US regions, as I learned them in school, would say both of those are in the Southeast while, for historical reasons, Minnesota is in the Midwest. Obviously, that would make the conferences unbalanced, so we could move Milwaukee or Chicago into the West.

As a Louisiana sports fan it would be pretty dope to play against the hawks, hornets, and magic regularly to have those NFL rivalries run parallel with NBA. But we have lots of teams in our area in the west, and Minnesota should be in the same division as the other midwest teams bulls, bucks, and pistons

I agree Minnesota is the best option, they usually have one of highest travel miles in the leagues each season and it’ll make the division rivalries match other sports more.

As a Nuggets/Bucks fan it’s really weird they play the Nuggets more than the Bucks given their locations.

Edit: I do wonder if they’ll go to 4 divisions of 4 in each conference and how that’ll affect the schedule. Can’t really go any other way and have even divisions though unless it’s 8 team divisions.
