Picking the right third-party charger for the Pixel 9 Pro XL is nigh on impossible, thanks to some very specific power requirements.

It's literally following the usb-pd spec for any type of usb type c cable. Then getting a charger that supports 20v on PPS.

This 30w Google charger I'm looking at now does 20v usb-pd but only 11v@3A on PPS. It's built to a budget.

To be fair, USB, thunderbolt, power delivery, quick charge and whatever else are a nightmare for everyone to navigate through, even if you know they exist. Without that knowledge I think it's impossible to find the correct cable/charger combination for fast charging.

Oh and don't forget about SuperVOCC and other super specific manufacturer standards.

I bought a Ugreen 65W charger months ago and I just checked the specs, 20V and 3.25A. Ugreen is probably one of the top 3 most sold brands for these kind of things. I also checked other (USB PD) fast chargers by them and Baseus, they all are above 18V @ 2A, so I don't think there's really any issue here other than the author not having a single charger that meets that requirement.
