I get it, 50% residents of one of the most influential countries on earth will be very upset, with a lot of geopolitic consequences.

But for some, we cant change the outcome in anyway, I hate the way content even on the Fediverse becomes. Yes its important but man. I was all into 2016 elections but it doesnt really change anything anyway. Americans go vote and all, though.

I just wanna talk about kernels and factorio, man

As an American, it is super important to go vote. That said... That factorio space age update though. Hype hype hype!

My shoulders have been permanent cement since all of the election shit kicked off here in the US. I’d like it to end also, but that doesn’t mean we won’t continue to hear about the inevitable riots, Elon mouth drivel, etc. It’s a never ending mental hellscape here in the US.

The answer is obvious: the American people should go to the polls and vote "HELL NO!" with the weapon of their choice.

Yes. Apparently, they can.

Bugger, But also, heil, leader Trump, I suppose.

I recommend avoiding any subreddit that isn't a niche you want to talk about for the time being.

Asking people not to talk about something they're passionate about is a bit silly. I wouldn't ask you to stop talking about Linux or Factorio until February.
