Israel has unleashed a massive military attack to neutralise Syria with hundreds of airstrikes. A senior Israeli source has called this “the largest air operation carried out by its Air Force in its history”, according to Al Jazeera. Despite saying its airstrikes would ‘continue for days’, Israel has stressed that it is ‘not intervening’.

Really frustrating hearing DemocracyNow talk about how great it is the "Assad regime" has fallen, and in the same breath talk about Israeli strikes and illegal occupation of land, but then not make the connection.

They are supported by donations since it's indie media, which is probably why their coverage of the genocide in Gaza has been fantastic. Definitely brought me to tears over and over during the past 14 months.

They just have this idealistic peacenik instinct that lacks any sort of concept of critical support or world systems theory. As far as they are concerned, Israel and Assad are equally bad, y'know?

I think their major donors would pull out if they interviewed anyone left of Chomsky.

Good points - definitely explains their tepid positions on Palestine too. They're definitely anti-genocide, but can't make that leap to support Palestinian resistance fighters.
