I'm looking to upgrade my 16GB DDR4 RAM to 32GB DDR4. Currently I have the HyperX HX433C16PB3K2/16 kit installed. It seems this kit is not sold anymore. I'm not really keen on buying a whole new 32GB RAM kit.

I found this kit from Kingston that seems about the same. It's DDR4-3200 instead of DDR4-3333 I currently have. I'm aware that my old kit will then run slower but I don't mind. The latencies are the same.

Should this kit be okay to add or is it asking for troubles?

It will work 99% sure. But your Ram will be set to the slowest of the 2 clock speeds I suppose.

Afaik you can even use DDR3L and DDR3 together.

I mix and match ram all the time in my personal systems (vms, test boxes, etc). Have never had an issue, just match speeds or it will down clock to the lowest speed.
