So she plans a trip to Disney for her birthday and orders an expensive cake, but for L’s birthday, it's a Costco cake, last-minute planning, and “good enough.” Can you imagine if someone said that about TBP's? You know it'll be her “friends” she’s invited, and their kids, if they have any, will be there. L isn't allowed any of her thoughts, likes, friends, topics, interests, etc. Gross. So slimy.

Hello new Lemmy friends!
Word on the street tells us our community is regularly making it the all page. While this is very cool news to hear, we can see how the sudden emergence of our posts in your feed might feel jarring and probably raises some questions. And also how, without knowing the backstory, our community might appear less than virtuous, so here’s a very brief introduction which hopefully will clear a few things up.
The woman we’re discussing is a body positive influencer and media personality who has gained fame and wealth by lying, manipulating, exploiting her children for content, plagiarizing BIPOC creators and blaming her BIPOC content editor for it (thereby ruining her career), among other things. Her fraudulent behavior is no different (I’d argue worse) from the likes of Jay Shetty (google him if you don’t know who he is or what he did). She’s the latest in a long line of grifting influencers who are abusing their power, taking advantage of their position and exploiting their followers. The difference is that she’s Canadian. Our laws around social media and advertising aren’t as clear (and where they are she’s disobeyed them), add to that, our mainstream media has protected her from those who’ve tried to expose her grift and silenced/intimidated anyone who’s tried to speak out.
Our Reddit sub was taken down due to reports of copyright infringement, which is unfounded and categorically untrue as no one ever tried to steal her work and pass it off as their own. The mods have made an appeal. While at first glance it may seem like we’re just “shitting on her” the sub has been more devoted to investigation and posting proof of her lies than just bitching for the sake of bitching. The reality is that she’s hurt, manipulated and let down a lot of people. She stole intellectual property and employment, caused mental distress and has repeatedly told lies to boost engagement and profit off her audience, so people are understandably upset that their voices are being silenced.
We’re grateful to have been welcomed so kindly by so many of you, and to those sticking around to watch the drama unfold, we’re glad to have you!

I think she already knows she got it as well. She’s usually pretty tight lipped. It took her months to talk about the Hallmark audition she didn’t get.

If these parents didn't have this little girl, I wonder what they would do all day, let alone what Turdie's content would consist of. Shane should be ashamed of himself, what a useless lump he appears to be. I would be so embarrassed if that was my husband and people saw him like that in my internet videos.
Forgive me and I hope I'm wrong, I don't have kids and am rarely around children that young, but L seems to be so ...stunted? for a 4 year old. How did she not know the toy was a baby? The Elsa princess dress needed to be washed, so the only suitable alternate is a floofy fairy dress with wings?? What about normal loungewear?
It’s hard to say because kids can be so different at that age but she definitely has an interesting way of speaking. She is very repetitive and seems to mimic a lot. I don’t know if it’s because they constantly talk to her in that baby voice bullshit or what.
They’ve (Sarah and NK especially) turned that kid into a cartoon tbh. I don’t have kids either nor do I spend a lot of time around them but I do agree with you. I’m sure it has a lot to do with the fact she’s so coddled, sheltered and is always being pushed to perform for the camera. She always comes as robotic to me because she always seems like she’s being fed a script and nothing seems natural about her. Doesn’t help she’s ALWAYYYYYSSSS plopped infront of a Disney movie. Poor kid really needs a life outside of NK’s home and her own home, she needs interactions with other people (teachers and kids).

She’s Sarahsplaining how frugal she is with L’s party planning. So many words so little substance as per usual. Who the F gets nervous about throwing a kids birthday party? She’s saying she’s nervous about how the party is going to come together. L got to watch TV for her calendar birthday treat so I can’t imagine she has big expectations for her lazy ass mother (if 4 year olds have expectations 🙂). What miss shallow is nervous about is if her influencer friend guests will praise her. She says such stupid crap. She has no confidence what so ever. She has to prove she’s not spending on her kids party cuz she wants people to like her but she keeps lying about her appearance and lives a purely wasteful lifestyle. Spend the money on L - who cares?!
It's because it has nothing to do with her actual child and her bday and has everything to do with her and how people see her, how she planned her kids bday, what she did for her to make up for all of the times she's left her, for the gram. It's this image she has to uphold, while still lying. That's what makes her nervous. She's so far deep, anything can slip. She's under a microscope and all will be lost soon enough and she knows it. Side note: funny how she's frugal for her kid, but spending sees no boundaries for herself

It amazes me the way she wishes people happy birthday compared to how others fawn over her birthday. NB just gets a reposted video with a basic message attached. Bri actually posts a photo of her and NB with a nice message.
I’ve thought for a while now that NB and Sarah aren’t as close anymore. Bet Sarah is jealous that Bri and NB got closer bc they both are interested in women’s sports and Sarah is just a try hard.
