Hi all, For days now I can't view any comments from any community with this account. I get a message that says: no comments. But at first, i got an api error i think ( i can't look it up to check, because today everything just says that there are no comments, even when it shows there are hundreds of comments). I can read the comments when reading them on the web, or with Jerboa for instance. And i have another account at beehaw, and there i can read the comments too.

Is this also happening for you on Guest accounts or specific to this account? Version 1.0.120?

Yes, and i see this message: error: temporarily_disabled

And sometimes the 'no comments' message

The main feeds and the inbox list of replies works though? I haven't seen this API error before so apologies for not having a clear resolution. Does it persist after re-installing Connect?

Spoke too soon. It's back. Either no comments or API error: temporarily disabled. The inbox works. I can see all replies. I'm not sure what you mean with the main feeds? But it does not matter whether it is in my subscribed comments or not. Nor does it matter if a community is local or not. For my other account at beehaw, i can see all comments, whether subscribed, local or All.

Hah! Reinstalling fixed it. I should have thought about that first, apologies! I'm happy, since this became my favorite app. Thank you so much :-) EDIT: no, it didn't fix it, only for a second.

There was an update yesterday, did you try it?

[–] Papanca@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Yes, i did. Maybe that's why it doesn't mention the api error anymore, but i still can't view any comments.
