Did you pick one of the origin characters? The free-form "origin" character The Dark Urge? A totally custom character?

And what class are you picking and excited about?

As is tradition, my first run is as a Bard. What better class to handle conversations and record the lore? Mechanically speaking, I also play Bards because they are the "jack of all trades" class, and while it may not be true here, it was the class to solo party most D&D CRPGs I grew up with since they are decent at everything from fighting and casting, to picking locks and persuasion.

He's also a Gold Dragon born, but I made his scale colors look like he's from a Cyberpunk music video (magenta and cyan with a metallic sheen).

Duergar Oathbreaker Paladin.

I really like Duergar and they rarely get the playable character spotlight that Drow get, so it felt like a must.

Multiplayer: Tiefling Cleric of Ilmater, chronic good boy who feels he has to atone for a misspent youth. I felt inspired and ended up writing a page of backstory for him that I'm sure will never come into play, but maybe I'll play him on tabletop someday!

Singleplayer: Wanted to do an evil campaign to contrast, ended up playing way more of this one than multiplayer, oops. Male drow Assassin/Gloom Stalker to romance Minthara.

There are other companion romances I want to try out and so many builds that sound fun! And I have to play a Dragonborn at some point, they look so beautiful! It's really tempting to start another new campaign even though I'm not out of Act 1 yet!
