I loved that movie especially because his parents in it are duplicates of my parents. I even had a copy of the Bay City Rollers album that had the original version of this song, when I was a kid in a very Scottish immigrant house.

Oh, I loved the Bay City Rollers back in the day and the fact that it was in the movie was hilarious.

I actually used the movie as a litmus for my husband, when we met. He mentioned the bagpipes at the wedding and I know his humor was about the same as mine

And Yeah, the parents...:D

Seen them live in Haarlem on liberation day back in the ‘90s. They where awesome and notibly had a following of dedicated fans.
