Den tour shave 2

Same gear bar soap.

Caries bubbles - la marche du rasage Aquatic fougere is probably how I'd see this soup. It has a green base with a very watery top. It's the only caties I own and is a little sample jar that I got early in my r/ days from kammander Kim in a pif or Christmas secret Santa. It gives me a bit of irritation which I always thought was the oakmoss but then varen doesn't so it must be one of the other notes.

  • Post Shave: Ginger's Garden - Unscented Aftershave balm (+ menthol)

I don't have any Wholly Kaw and would need to do some mental gymnastics to argue that I have a soap that matches half the scent notes for today's theme. 15 days is a good run, I definitely made it further than I expected. Out is out is out though.

Best of luck to the rest of the contestants, and big thanks to @enndeegee for the super fun idea!

  • Brush: Maggard 24mm Tuxedo Synthetic
  • Razor: Gillette Tech (Z-4)
  • Blade: Personna 74 (23)
  • Lather: Barrister & Mann - Vespers - Soap
  • Post Shave: Chatillon Lux - Nefertiti - Aftershave

Saxe Sunday. Vespers is great. This blade, which has been starting to feel less than sharp, felt better today. Probably a testament to Omnibus. I don't have any evidence, but I feel like since B&M soaps can hold so much water, they can also "release" a lot of water into the whiskers, making them softer. It's probably more complicated than that. Either way, great shave.

Atlas Shaves II - Day 16

  • Brush: Grizzly Bay Fireball 26mm Declaration Grooming B15 Badger Knot
  • Razor: Blutt Rasur BR-1 0.99
  • Blade: Gillette Platinum [20]
  • Lather: Wholly Kaw - Vor V - Soap
  • Post Shave: Wholly Kaw - Vor V - Splash
  • Fragrance: Wholly Kaw - Vor V - Eau de Toilette

I went with Vor V for the Wholly Kaw artisan points--incredible scent, excellent shave.

Yay, an excuse for using Entropy Man. Today's soap, WK 1776, isn't in my den, so 4 artisan points for me.
