G'day, and welcome to 3D Printing on Lemmy!

I thought I'd get the ball rolling with my most favourite recent print: An insulated sleeve for my Bodum 1 litre coffee press! https://makerworld.com/en/models/1087325

I'd like this to be a welcoming space for discussion and troubleshooting, and self-promotion posts are OK within reason.

Enjoy!

Is there more than one textile that can be used to create the 3d objects? I know almost nothing about 3d printers except for the produced products. They all look plastic. New to lemmy, do I ask these questions here? Google it myself? Let me know, thanks.

That looks really nice! How does that hold up in use? I've got 2 of these v60 stands in hotpink petg I printed after I broke the carafe so I could keep using the dripper, they work pretty well but find they can get a little flexible.

Thanks! I've been using this as my daily driver for about three weeks and is holding up perfectly. It might just be because it's so beefy, but I don't notice any difference in feel or fit when it's hot.
