Oh look, it took a visualization of what Trump has been saying for them to understand that he was speaking literally.

The cognitive dissonance hasn't been broken though.

“Only one deserves the glory and the honor, Mr President,” wrote another user. “The statue is a symbol of the antichrist, please humble yourself to God. Jesus is king and only Him.” Other users described the video as “sick” and “filth”.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if shitty AI videos were what finally dispelled the illusion?

These people are idiots, yes.

It features a golden statue of him. It's a known vulnerability that that will make him post anything.

I really hate the term "topless Netanyahu"

[–] sik0fewl@lemmy.ca 10 points 2 days ago

It's one war crime after another with these guys.

Would you prefer "speedo clad Netanyahu"?

Trump release crazy AI video to overshadow another AI video https://youtu.be/kU8Pk3LP8ys

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

God, even the lyrics for the song that accompanies it are obviously AI generated.

  • AI lyrics: cringe
  • AI music: weak
  • AI video: confusing to say the least

But the overall message was clear as day: Trump loves genocide if it means he can make money off of it.

Trump loves genocide if it means he can make money off of it.

This was always apparent for three years he was campaigning for his second term. No one gave a shit and voted him anyways. I don't understand why you are shocked

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I’m not shocked at all. A few republicans are shocked, according to the article.

[–] BaroqueInMind@lemmy.one -2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They are not shocked. They want you to think they are stupid, but these millionaire senators are all Ivy League graduates pulling wool over your eyes.

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

Okay, please stop putting words in my mouth. Read the article. It is not talking about politicians, it is talking about normal Republican voters posting their grievances on social media.

I can’t have a productive conversation with you if you’re not talking about the same thing as the rest of us.

I fucking hate the present. Whatever egregor we've spawned here I hate with the intensity of infinite suns.

I guess if they're gonna round us all up eventually, at least we get some fun deep fakes on the way. My wishlist, I hope someone reanimates Trump getting pissed on.

Edit: also, this? this is where his putrid voters draw the line? these people make AI images of him shitting out red white blue light beams, freak out like they saw the beatles at rallies, applaud him making fun of the disabled, parade his felonies, rapes, and hate speech. they shriek about killing arabs like their lives depend on it. but Trump Gaza, is it for them?

[–] Letstakealook@lemm.ee 3 points 2 days ago

Oh? A bit of the "trump derangement syndrome?" Unfortunately, it'll probably blow over rather quickly.
