This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".
Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.

YMFAH’s vids are out of this world on creativity and presentation. His No Talk challenge runs are especially entertaining
YMFAH is the goat.
The run without walking is hilarious.
I'm partial to his pacifist runs but they're all almost universally great. I still watch The Backlogs, JK Leeds, etc, etc, but ymfah's ridiculous production values really elevate him above every other souls challenge runner.
Did a challenge run with blindfold and no sound but stopped because i had no idea what was happening.
I did the firebomb only challenge, with using NPCs when necessary, but stopped after reaching Anor Londo.
I had lots of fun doing a broken ass soul lvl one pyromancer run in the original dark souls.
There are a few guides out for it and can highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it.
No attack run.
