Polis was a shred of humanity amidst the shitshow today.
I don’t like everything Polis does but this is a great, well written statement. Colorado continues to get things mostly right.
I wish there were more voices of reason coming from the US!
Ayyyyy, Mr Polis did something I agree with. For the last few months I thought we'd completely lost him to the dark side.
Same…was/am worried, but this was a glimmer of hope.
ETA: And I’m a bit embarrassed to say I had to read it more than once to realize “a brutal Russian dictator” didn’t mean Trump.

Good. This is what I want to see from the states. Go over the Trump admin's head. The states can work together to try and make up for what is being lost. Foreign relations, disaster relief, etc.
Fuck 'em. We don't need them.
Federalism for the win! We really don’t need the federal government if we aren’t acting as world police.
