2 load of washing done. 'lawns' mowed (including leaf blower heh heh) sorry meanelevator. Garden watered. Sewing machine set up ready for some serious winter jarmie action. Maybe the time has come to attempt a pirate shirt (with thanks to Ms Banner).

I don't WANNA go out and collect data 😭 I've already procrastinated half the day away and it's hot and I'm meeting a friend later today and I'm tired and and and...

... But it might be cloudy tomorrow and probably will be on Monday so even at this late juncture I will force myself to go. Just do even two hours. gaaaah

Ugh there's a guy my partner used to work with a few years ago. Partner and I would hang out with him and the other coworkers often, going to the pub and having a good time. But this particular dude was (is?) a massive weed-head, which doesn't bother me at all except when we'd all be quite tipsy and drunk he'd constantly ask partner and I for weed. It got to the point where I would avoid going, because it was every single time. I even told him a few times how utterly annoying it was, and showed him how to get BM weed, showed him how to apply for medical if he needed it - and still!

He's been messaging me recently on messenger, to hang out, meet his new girl, whatever, and I just can't. Partner is fine with that, too, and partner can't respond because he has a dumb phone 😂

I have the chat on mute, and see he messages when I go to check my other messages. I feel bad, but also feel a bit burned and don't feel like putting myself in his company in case it gets awkward and he begs for weed again. I think it just makes me feel used, that partner and I aren't actually friends with him, were just a means to an end. And I don't want to meet him, have him beg, and me lose my shit in front of his gf lol.
