ie: [US-CA, Los Angeles 2025-02-08] Example Event in California

c. Post Body must contain link to an externally published event announcement.

The goal is to prove the event is real and not facetious opposition spam.

d. No Gatekeeping.

This is not the place to criticize the merits of any particular event, merely to advertise its existence.

Summary

A nationwide strike has crippled air travel at 13 German airports, including Frankfurt and Munich, as trade union Verdi pushes for higher wages and better benefits for 2.5 million public sector workers.

The strike, following failed negotiations, led to over 1,000 flight cancellations at Frankfurt and complete shutdowns at Berlin and Hamburg airports, affecting around 510,000 passengers.
