Aren't succulents toxic for cats?

Edit: only some... like the aloe vera in the picture :(

cats sometimes eat shit like grass just to puke, maybe this is the case here?

Yeah, I grew up with cats, my mom grew up growing and repotting aloe vera. Only my last cat decided she actually likes to nom them. Figured out that they were toxic when I went on holiday and brought my cat over to them. She came back with a swollen mouth and chin. Aloe has been banished, every single plant got googled and cat-approved (or thrown out/banished to outside).

Not this succulent, aloe vera is toxic for cats
