RIF can be patched to use your own OAuth client id and then used as normal (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Sure, the question of should you still be using Reddit after their horrible treatment of 3rd party devs is up to you, just wanted to let people know this was an option.

After I tried it, seems to work perfectly. The only thing I noticed is that imgur links won't work anymore, probably because the api keys RIF was using to pull from imgur are not valid after the OAuth client patch. Small price to pay to be able to keep using RIF though.

EDIT: @talklittle, if you are not okay with people patching your app, I can take this post down

This is not worth the effort. If it could be patched to work here that would be awesome, but spezzit? Gross.
