Automated Music Piracy (lemmy.xaetacore.net)
submitted 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) by XaetaCore@lemmy.xaetacore.net to c/piracy@lemm.ee

Good afternoon fellow swashbuckelers! o? Currently my automated piracy setup is as followed:

  • Jackett for indexing
  • Bitmagnet(Indexed over 10 million torrents over DHT) DHT Crawling
  • Sonarr/Bazarr/Lidarr/Radarr: Tracking and media collection
  • Transmission: download client/server
  • Plex mediaserver: Hosting the content
  • Funkwhale: for music.

Now i face the following problem, Torrents are great for most of the media but for music its harder.

What would be the best approach for pirating music? A different protocol perhaps?

I'm curious as to how you guys solve this issue :)

Update:

Just set up slskd with Soularr, hooked it up to my lidarr and SAN and now its fully automated, and my Funkwhale music.xaetacore.net can pull right from my SAN! :D

Thank you all for helping me out in my DM's <3

This is the missing piece for me as well. Thank you for posting and updating with the solution. I'm going to set this up when I have some time o?

Good luck :), Its not that hard to setup but can be a bit spicy, took me round 4/5 hours 😅
