“simply showing off” -> clowning on humans

Must have been a slow news day and/or a slow day in the office where all the experts hang out doing expert things expertly 🤷

I rather read this sorta news than about some school or hospital being bombed or about a new plague

I'd rather read both, tbh. The horrible stuff to stay informed about important things and things like this to keep my spirits up between 😁

Check out the “Bananas” podcast by Exactly Right Media if you need a fun news break from all of the chaos. It helps.

I mean, upside-down flying birds are strange, and figuring out why strange things happen often gives valuable insights. They could think about an issue like Gaza, but social phenomenon in nonhuman animals can reveal universal truths about even human behavior. Besides, I prefer low stakes stories over, "uplifting," news about billionaires buying PR, or someone being the exception to the rule of systemic injustice.

Only depressing stuff in the news all the time. Got it.

Never said that I wanted that. It's just how it usually goes 🤷

We've already known Goose to do a 4G inverted dive with a MiG-28 while improving relations.

I suppose, technically, the Goose pictured is indeed flipping the bird.

Dat neck twist, tho.
