Can you expand on the elements having a spirit and intelligence? That's a new one for me.

Here’s a graphic for how the Fediverse works. (Source https://lemmy.world/post/88856 )
Rocks, water, etc, all have a spirit and intelligence because they obey God. That’s how Jesus was able to command the elements, calm the waves, walk on water. Man is the only creation that doesn’t obey God. This is what they said, but it sounded like it was from the Pearl of Great Price or the teachings of Joseph Smith.
Interesting shelf break moment but I support it. Are you BIMO out of curiosity?
Best of luck on your journey.
It’s not that my shelf broke as much as my patience ran out. These were my people, but now they seem so strange. To be fair, I’m the one who changed.
I’ve been mentally out for a few years, but still attend for family. Only one of my three kids attends, because she has friends there. We make fun of the weird things they teach in her class. But my wife is still TBM, and I attend to be with her.
But not Elders Quorum. Now I have to find something to do with myself during second hour.
Fair enough.
It’s funny how a change in perspective completely alters our perception of people. Happened to me for lots of things over the years.
I hope the difference in beliefs with your wife works out for you and your family if that’s what you want. It can be tough having a partner with fundamental differences in belief systems.
