Slams....ugh...
News
Breaking news and current events worldwide.
‘Slams’ has been commonly used as a short punchy word in newspaper headlines for well over 50 years. It’s not ambiguous. Probably time to get over it.
Destroys!
Eviscerates!
Skewers!
Ever notice how with the far right, the second amendment is the only one that matters? Any attempt to restrict gun access in any way is immediately challenged as unconstitutional, no compromise. But the first amendment never gets that benefit. We'll ban books and raid newspapers just fine.
No, they have no problem with gun control when it's applied to other people either
True. Just like free speech only matters when a far-right news pundit is banned on social media.
The important thing to remember here is that Kari Newell had been convicted of DUI and was driving without a license. Attempting to cover up this fact is apparently more important than the First Amendment to Marion County District Court Magistrate Judge Laura Viar.
Eyes are on this one now. USA today (that great bastion of journalism) picked it up too. Police chief says criminal charges and the affidavit will justify his actions and he's gotten the state investigators involved in his nonsense criminal charges. His corrupt ass must be sweating.
Is it time to retire again already?
Be sad for this poor woman, but be angry that you can't remember a story where police did bad shit during a raid and anything at all came of it. They will have no consequences at all for this.
well that entire county is populated with nothing but cowards and lickspittles
if you're near Marion, here's what you do.. go around to the convenience stores, and Dunkin Donuts, etc.. and just casually but sort of sly-like ask people if they've seen the Federal agents going around asking questions about the local cops.. then just say, okay, you wondered if anybody had seen them.. then leave..
