How much did this cost you?

The enormous amount of IO, especially the PCIe lanes is definitely the best feature. If I had one I’d set up a sweet server for everything. Tons of pretty powerful cores and all the pcie would make an amazing Proxmox machine.

Exactly why I landed on it. I kept trying to make everything I wanted fit in a 3600 AM4 form factor, but it just wouldn’t work. I figure going with a 7282 and the AsRock Rack ROMED6U-2L2T in a Node 804 and be solid for a very, very long time. Or so I hope 🤣

And I thought my 2x 7352s were badass... nice! Maybe when the 2nd hand prices drop I'll offload my 2 and grab 2 of those!

Nice feature is the sata-dom. I have 2 128gb drives on those. I also love the IPMI management.

I uhhh think I’d try to sleep with it.

I would sell it. Everything I do is in containers, I have no need for 32/64, nor do I have the need for it to increase my electric bill.

You may want to start with installing a CMOS battery.

Then the answer is VMs.

Throw in some cash and trade up for Milan or even Genoa?
