As well as the bands I mentioned in my comment reply to @ALostInquirer@lemm.ee (which assumed it was Black(ish) Metal that was required), you might also try Gorod (latest album is a banger), The Ocean (aka The Ocean Collective) which are both kind of proggy-Death and if you want to go a bit Doomy, try Pantheist or Rise To The Sky.

It's not entirely like this, but definitely check some Opeth. Preferably older ones that tend to be more metal. I believe you will like them.

To be honest, I think Iron Maiden’s Senjutsu is quite close, and it’s great at delivering a similar feeling in terms of the vocals
