During WAN Show on Friday, Linus called Reddit leadership "big liars". He also noted the recent instability in internet services, while also noting that people still have twitter and Facebook accounts despite recent backlash.

On the current situation, Linus added "Reddit is not unassailable. Guys, we don't actually have to accept this. And I feel like this period has resulted in complacency from these platforms as well where they're just blatantly anti-users to the point where they must just think 'You have no other choice'.
