IDK if it’s just me, but it seems like they’ve already been doing that heavily. Most of the “free” content I watch on there now seems to be on “FreeVee”, which means there’s ad breaks. Pretty sure entire shows and movies that used to be on the regular free tier have just been moved over there, while I’m still paying the same subscription fee.
At least the ad breaks are shorter than on other, completely free services. For now.
The only reason I still have Prime Video is because of a super weird bug where it tries to charge an already expired card. Somehow, it doesn't register as expired and I can just "renew" it every month
