ICIG Thomas Monheim will be briefing members of the House Oversight Committee on UAP this coming Tuesday, January 9th at 9a E.T. With the passing of the UAP Disclosure Act, there may be a lot to start working on to ensure a smooth release of information on past reports that are due for release. Even though this will be classified, hopefully we at least get a sense for what's to come this year.

The fact that it's even a topic under discussion should blow our minds, let alone being discussed because of new legislation.
The more briefings, the more committees are exposed to this info, the greater chance someone will feel they have a responsibility to inform the public (this is my personal opinion).
There's a decent chance this could be the delivery of actual info and not a "nothing to see here" event; Monheim has connections to people close to Grusch, seems to be trusted by them, etc.

A quick Google will pull up a great reddit post re connections to Grusch.
Or he's going go tell them to drop it bcz it's actually secret government programs and they need to look the other way. Usually this stuff is a distraction to something else going on.
I don't think there'd be any reason to hide contact with an alien civilization if it were really true.
That information could have been provided to them at any point until now. Why wait this long and let so much attention be brought to it in the public eye?
There was plenty of public media attention on roswell, turned out to be a crashed spy device of some kind for a classified project called Project Mogul. But they didn't admit it until decades later.
Could be true, that's certainly what they said it was. I have no proof so just speculating but this seems different given the timing and who is involved.
Now that this briefing took place, do you think the scenario you laid out took place?

Monheim is also the one to say Grusch's claims were "credible and urgent". Grusch gave his OK to share the details he presented to the IGs with Congress, so some of those claims may be a part of what's addressed here.
And, if I'm not mistaken, this will be on the House's first day back of the year. Essentially being the first major topic to be addressed. I'll be eager to see the response after the briefing.

They're 90 days out from revealing that it's all been an elaborate, slow-burning April Fools' Day prank. Makes sense to get a meeting on the calendar while they've still got time for some last-minute adjustments.
