I just noticed this very weird shit, now already 3 videos of Norm Macdonald contain a few transphobic frames, with a shirt saying "There are only two genders", which is literally just dropped in the middle of the video, in a very sketchy way.

The videos in questions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74-qMzO18L8 at 6:11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DryXknn3Dik at 20:30 and I lost the other one somehow

I reported them and all, but I was just wondering what kind of effects do these hope to have? And from big accounts

I posted this on r/196 but they deleted it.

I just want to clarify for anyone else, the frames in dispute are NOT historical content, they are ads that have been inserted into the video. (I bring this up because taking down historical content for being offensive is not necessarily a good idea, it is important that we accurately remember how thing were, good and bad)

I dont think you'll have much luck reporting the videos for transphobia, just because I dont think google/yt cares about that. But you may have some success reporting them for copyright infringement. They are certainly not official recordings/uploads, and its definitely not free use.

That's not historic content, though. Those weren't original ads that aired with the show. They're promotions for the YouTube channel's sketchy web site, which looks like a drop-shipping scam to me.

OP, I reported this as "spam or misleading," and I added the context "The linked site looks like a drop-shipping scam web site."

I also checkmarked the box that said this also applies to links in the video description.

Yeah, which is what i said. The objectionable material is definitely not historical content, just some scummy ads shoved into whatever content they could find.

I misread your comment. I see now that it says "NOT historical content..."

I'm not sure why I missed that before.
