Interesting username lol
I use both side by side, I'm hoping for Lemmy to grow, but I know that in the near future Reddit will still continue to be active

Gock.
Trying to completely leave reddit as of a few days ago when boost finally stopped working. I haven't been back so far and this is my primary site now and also following discuit in hopes it grows bigger than it currently is.
I know I will use reddit for work when I have technical questions but that's it.
I left during the blackout. I use reddit occasionally for specific questions I can't find anywhere else. It's a shit hole, but an old and useful shit hole.
Mostly. I paid for both rif and reddit premium. My subscription to reddit premium runs out in early August, so as a long as rif still works (mostly) I'll keep it on my phone's home screen next to Jerboa and alternative between the two.
That said, reddit has stopped allowing the porn subs to be accessed from third party apps, or at least from rif. I expect other restrictions to follow. So I expect I'll be getting of rif altogether in a month or so. Eventually rif for tildes (TIF?) will debut and I'm looking forward to that.
I left Reddit during the blackout and haven’t looked back. I check in my sub once in a while to see what the new mod has done to it. Seems like he re-opened it. He is the first one that told me about the blackout lol, Trader!
I made an account a few days ago. I’m actually surprised at how similar the content is to the front page of reddit (albeit much less visibility). I think Lemmy does have what it takes to take over.
Already have 😏
Yes, first week was kinda rough with lack of content, but it’s quickly getting better.
Haven’t logged into Reddit since they announced the API changes.
Who's Lenny. Kidding. Yes, I replaced Reddit at the beginning of June, when that little fucktard, u/spez, confirmed that he's not bending on the policy. Slowly nuked my account over the course of that month. ~~Lenny~~ Lemmy (friggin autocorrect hahaha what irony) is my new best friend.
Trying to. It’s hard because I’m super lonely and want to connect with people. But it’s still really new here and not a lot of users are here yet.
Edited my comments in reddit and left. And haven't logged back in since.
I like how you can feel the interactions and communities growing here.
Haven’t gone back to Reddit since Apollo shut down. Given the way it’s now run I say “good riddance”. Hopped onto Lemmy since the Memmy app launched on iOS, and so far so good. I first joined Reddit in 2008, and Lenny has similar vibes now as Reddit did back then.
I'm using Reddit about 60% less than before.
Not totally. Reddit is a shithole but it's my shithole
Yes, between here and mastodon I got enough content
Besides the obvious difference in users, I'm finding it remarkably similar to Reddit. Time will tell if it catches on in popularity.
I was ready to leave Reddit last week, when my third party app stop working... but it doesn't stop and now, everytime i open Joey for Reddit i kinda wish it don't work anymore, cause i think why should i leave, if it works?
I have a small userscript/style tweak to remove all input fields from reddit, so I'm still allowing myself to browse reddit in read-only mode on desktop, with no mobile access.
It's a gentle way to wean myself off. I'm still waiting for my GDPR data dump anyway, so I need to check reddit fairly regularly to be able to grab it when/if it arrives.
I made my account yesterday so I can't really say if I will stick with Lemmy in the long term, but for now mostly yes, most of the communities I like are here and Lemmy feels a lot nicer than Reddit. But there are a few communities that are still only on Reddit so I'm using both
Yes
redwhat ?
It's really not far off, Reddit is on borrowed time and so is twitter and the rest....
Yep, other than ending up at Reddit because I'm searching for something, which I'll call passive use. My active use of posting and commenting is entirely on Lemmy
I already did.
